HID AE PowerLight Metal Halide replacement lamp PL14/6K Lamp

HID PowerLight™ utilize Metal Halide HID lamps, sometimes referred to as Xenon, or HID Xenon. HID stands for High Intensity Discharge, and as the name suggests HID lamps do not have a filament, rather two electrodes contained in an arc tube filled with various inert gases (including xenon), and metal salts. HID lamps operate at relatively high pressures and temperatures so there is inherent risk associated with their use. HID PowerLight™ has been engineered to minimize these risks and achieve greater lumen output than can be realized with even the most high power filament style flashlights.

HID PowerLight™ lamps are mated with a polished and focused reflector, enabling maximum lumen transmission to your target. Snap in connectors make it easy for lamp replacement. Typical lamp life with standard soft-start ballast is 2000+ hours.
