Lithium ion batteries are used in these powerful HID flashlights. With their light weight, compact size, and high capacity storage, they are ideal for use in the HID PowerLight™.

Lithium ion batteries should not be left on charger past full charge. Remove charger when LED indicator shows a Green light, indicating full charge. A built in safty circuit will trip in the event an over-charge condtion occurs. Please refer to the owners manual for resetting. Lithium ion batteries hold their charge longer than alkaline or Metal Hydride batteries and can be stored for longer periods of time with a full charge. Lithium batteries do not have a memory so charging after a short burn time will not harm the battery. HID PowerLight™ battery used in the PL14 & PL24 are capable of over 500+ recharges.
