The TerraLUX TLE-300 is the worlds brightest upgrade for D cell Maglites. Outputting up to 600 lumens at the emitter the TerraLUX TLE-300 is sure to please. While the TerraLUX TLE-300 is built for 4-6 D cell Maglites advanced users understand that it really needs 6V (Operating Voltage: Up to 12 VDC) so there's any number of creative ways* to power it in a 2 or 3 cell light. Maglites with the TLE-300 cannot be focused anymore - but with 5-600 lumens you won't need to focus it anymore. The light output of the TLE-300M is greater than a conventional 50 Watt MR-16 halogen light bulb.

* - The TLE-300M works with 4-6 Alkaline, NiMh or NiCd batteries. For users seeking to use the TLE-300M in smaller lights there are any number of 'custom' battery pack solutions one could pursue. For 3 D cell Maglites, the most common size, we now offer a 6V battery pack and charger, seen below, which will easily power this unit for 45-60 minutes and is a great solution for those not wanting to get out their soldering iron.
