The MRV SK Ultra is designed as an ultra bright, high-efficiency tactical light. The MRV SK ULTRA has all of the desirable specifications and build quality one expects in a light that can serve as a life/death tool. Using a power switching technology originally pioneered for the LumaPower MVP, the MRV SK ULTRA features an innovative approach to power and output switching; the tail cap switch controls on/off and offers a momentary feature; on the side is the SideKick switch which allows the use to control output levels. For users this means being able to 'preset' a power level in advance of activating the light; so a camper/hiker can have the light pre-set to low and a tactical user could have their light pre-set to high or strobe.

The MRV SK ULTRA features a textured 'orange peel' reflector which offers enhanced 'spill' pill and a creamy beam profile.

Remarks and FAQ: Holsters (Updated): We also offer four holsters, all shown below, that fit the MRV. The soft sided MaxPedition Universal Holster would be our recommendation for hikers, campers, casual and most military users (because of it's ALICE/MALICE/MOLLE compatability) and the Black Nylon Holster is another fine choice for this user. For Law Enforcement, Security and similar users we recommend the hard sided Stallion FPSH-AW Holster because the 'tube' stays open thus allowing you to place the light back in the holster without having to look. The last choice is the Stallion PSH-AW Half-Holder, an open tube style holster perhaps best suited to tradespeople and others who want quick and easy access to their lights.

BatteryJunction.com HIGHLY recommends the Ultrafire 18650 2400mah Button Top cell, linked below, for use with the M-65 extender as the button tops ensure the best possible contact when used in serial application. We also really like the use of 2x Ultrafire RCR123A/16340 cells - while the runtime is under an hour it is at maximum brightness and doesn't require the M-65's extra cost or length.
