Testing batteries:

Batteries may be tested with the meter/tester in the rack, or the tester may be removed from the rack for your convenience. To test AAA, AA, C, D and Button Cell Batteries, lift the arm of the tester and place the battery so that the bottom touches the contact in the swing arm. This is shown in the line drawing on the rack.

To test 9V batteries hold the contacts against the meter terminals on the right. There are one large and one smaller hole that match the 9V battery contacts.
