Silver Oxide batteries generally have a very high energy/weight ratio with a life span that ranges from three to five years. They offer higher voltage then comparable mercury batteries and operate well in low temperature situations. Varying sizes offer between 1.55 to 6.2 volts. Silver Oxide batteries are primarily used in analog and digital watches, medial instruments, calculators, toys, and other portable electronics.
