The Panasonic NCR18650BD is a 3,180mAh high capacity li-ion battery with a 10A high-discharge rate. Along with the protected button top terminal, this battery is designed for a wide variety of demanding applications, such as flashlights with high-lumen turbo modes or industrial and medical devices.
NCR chemistry is similar to NMC, offering a long life span and a high energy density with greater stability with the added aluminum. With the added protection circuit board (PCB), the NCR18650BD features multiple safety features against overcharging and short circuits.

This is a single cell battery pack comprised of a genuine Panasonic MCR18650BD battery with a button top and PCB (protection circuit board) added by a battery pack manufacturer.
The addition of the button top terminal makes the pack slightly longer than an unprotected flat top 18650 battery, and the PCB offers protection from overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, and short circuit.
This cell has an additional outer wrapper (or sticker) and insulator which must not be removed.
