It means this charger will automatically switch between a high-voltage fast charge and a low-voltage float charge to protect the internal health of your SLA battery. The fast charge delivers 14.7V of power, so you don't have to waste time waiting for it to complete. Charge SLA & VRLA Batteries with Peace of Mind
