This heavy-duty chest provides outstanding protection for instrumentation, sales presentation packages, test equipment, photographic equipment, such as cameras and lenses, guns, and other delicate equipment. The 716 UltraCase equipment case is O-ring sealed to also protect contents from dust, moisture, and water. Another great feature of this portable compartment is the front dual-purpose latches. Not only do these snap the lid in place and keep contents secure during transport, but they also equalize the pressure when released, for effortless opening. In fact, the 716 UltraCase is air- and water-tight up to 3 feet (1 meter) underwater! The locking latches will also keep the carrying case closed when dropped from up to 6 feet (2 meters). While other competitors' storage chests fly open in such scenarios, you can feel secure in knowing your supplies will remain protected in even the most rugged of terrains. The 716 UltraCase equipment case, from Underwater Kinetics, is constructed of tough ABS that can also withstand a 7-foot drop onto concrete! In other words, the base itself won't break from a fall, and your equipment will also remain safely stored inside. Stainless steel hinge pins and a silicone rubber O-ring form together to create the hard protective carrying case with which you can take your expensive equipment anywhere.

The 716 UltraCase is available for sale alone or with configurable pluck foam filling. If your equipment is smaller or more delicate, we recommend selecting the equipment case with foam so that you can better protect your supplies. The pluck foam filling is available as single layers, giving users the ability to customize the size to better accommodate their equipment. A camera, for example, will require a different amount of foam padding than a handgun. The 716 UltraCase equipment case is also available for purchase with a panel ring, which is a solvent welded half an inch below the rim of the case. Brass threaded inserts (8-32) are embedded in the ring for a rigid attachment of an instrument panel. Finally, a foamed Neoprene O-ring seals the panel to the ring. With the panel ring, you can easily transform this equipment case into a portable electronic instrument, onto which controls and switches may be mounted.
