Why I really like this amazingly well-designed light

I picked up one of these to fill a niche for an LED area light that would provide a good deal of light and also have a lower, battery-saving mode to extend run times.
This light is quite bright on its high setting and the lower setting is still plenty bright enough to read or work by and should extend battery life and runtime. I haven't yet run down a set of batteries, so I can't at this point say how good battery life is. What I can address is the really well thought out design of this light. It has everything going for it. Well done, Energizer! I'm just going to list it's outstanding features in the pros and cons. I think this light would suitable for use as a car-carry or garage work light that runs off battery power, a light to keep in the house for power failures, and a good space-saving camp lantern.
This is one of the coolest lights I've purchased. It's a little pricey, but competitive and you won't regret this purchase. It does not have an AC power adapter option, it's strictly battery operated.

*Rugged plastic construction should withstand reasonable use `
*Very attractive, high-tech look and colors in the design `
*Non-slip rubber incorporated into the grips and sides should prevent accidental dropping `
*Slim, space-saving design - it gives as much light as much larger lanterns but will fit in a kit or bag `
