The L522BP Ultimate Lithium 9V is a new version of the older model of the 9V Advanced Lithium primary battery from Energizer®. It comes in a blister pack. 9V batteries should be a vital part of your stock of batteries that you have around your house, for example. One principle use for a 9V is in smoke detectors, which are crucial in preventing fires around the home. The Ultimate Lithium 9V can be inserted into carbon monoxide detectors too, for extremely effective operation. This lithium 9V has a shelf life of 10 years, so it will last a long time, even if it's not inside of a device. This battery is designed to not leak or to rupture, so it is very safe to use and to put into items that require a 9V cell. This battery is a great choice if you're looking to replace a used-up cell in one of your child's toys--it has a reputation for lasting up to 20% longer in such products than another type of 9V battery you may be familiar with: the Energizer Max®. This Ultimate Lithium cell is 1/4 lighter in weight than an alkaline 9V primary battery. The Energizer Ultimate Lithium 9V battery can also function in broad temperature ranges, from -40°F - 140°F.
