Multiple Modes

Now you can shine up to 130 lumens for an hour and a half! The advanced LED which boosts light at the speed of, well, the speed of light requires only minimal battery power to run as opposed to incandescent bulbs which sluggishly drain battery voltage. Choose between the 130 lumen High mode, the 50 lumen Low mode for situations that require less light, or 8 lumen Low mode for dim lighting applications like reading or ambient tent light.

Superior Design

Pocket Sized

The small and sleek shape of the E12 makes it perfect for storing in either your pocket, backpack, car, or luggage. Simple, Rugged, Economical.

I have owned this light for 5 years, and carried it constantly. Excepting the time I dropped it in the snow. Days later, I found it encased in ice. It was still lighting the driveway! That was before I left it in my pocket and tossed it into the washing machine. Again, it still worked. And it's inexpensive enough so it won't kill you if you lose it.

My favorite EDC light.

This is the first flashlight that I have actually carried every day in my pocket. It is so small and light I have no reason to leave it behind. It always starts in low mode which is convenient for restaurants, movies, etc. It has a good beam and I have had zero issues with this light. Since it is always in my pocket, I use it quite a bit.

Love this light!

This has quickly become one of my favorite AA lights. It's my new EDC backup and my EDC while at work. It's small, I like having a dim low power as I work at night in the medical field and it's bright enough on high for most outdoor needs. Only negative is no pocket clip, huge oversight by Fenix in my opinion. A Coast HX5 clip fits near perfectly though with no real modification.

Great for everyday carry.

Great for everyday carry. At 130 lumens it's not the brightest light, but it is nice to have something this bright to fine that missing earring that fell to the floor.

Great little light battery seems to last a long time for the amount of use, would buy again. This is the light I let my son play with running around the house.

What is the difference between the E11 and the E12? When did the E12 appear?
1 Answer
The Fenix E11 is a dual output flashlight with a 115 lumen High output and a 35 lumen Low mode, while the E12 has three outputs. The E12 has a 130 lumen High mode, a 50 lumen medium mode, and an 8 lumen low mode. Both flashlights run on a single AA battery. The E12 came out around January.

How do you switch modes? And does it always start in the same mode or does it have memory?
1 Answer
Turning the E12 on/off is done by the tailcap switch and switching modes is done by a light press of the switch. The E12 does not come with a memory function, as it will always turn on in low mode.
