The newest compact light from Fenix, the E18R is one of the smallest high-performance flashlights we carry. This tiny light measures in at a little over 2 inches and easily fits in your hand or clipped to a bag or kit. The E18R is made from durable high-strength and oxidation-resistant aluminum with a hard-anodized finish to protect your light from everyday punishment and wear. With an impact resistance of over three feet and an IP68 rating, this light is perfect for harsh conditions and a variety of tasks. This light also has a magnetic tail allowing for hands-free fixation and operation. Never worry about having an extra hand on the job with this light. The body of this flashlight is not the only thing built for tough performance. The specialized optic lens is thinner than most, and has an automobile-type coating which allows for a clear, bright light while being incredibly reliable. The protected Cree XP-L HI LED can put out an amazing 750 lumens in the turbo mode, and can reach up to 136 meters for up to 45 minutes of consistent run time.

Versatile EDC

The ultra-compact E18R has the added benefits of having a versatile power input and a convenient magnetic charger. It comes with a Fenix 16340 ARB-L16-700P Li-ion battery, but can also be powered from a CR123A Lithium battery in an emergency. The normal charging time of the included battery is about 80 minutes (do not attempt to charge CR123A primary batteries). The magnetic absorption charging is simple and convenient, even in the dark this charger is easily connected. Just hold the magnetic end of the charging cable close to the flashlight, and it will automatically attach and start charging. The built in indicator light (only works with the included battery type) will display the status of your battery when you single click the switch while your light is off. This light will also flash red when your battery power level is critical and under 25%. Never wonder if your flashlight has enough power to last through the next task.

Activation Innovations and Protections

The E18R has a unique side switch, located on the neck of the flashlight. This one-switch control is easy and has rapid operation capabilities. Four easy options: press and hold switch for 0.5 seconds for On/Off operation, double click for the Unlock/Lock mode, a single click lets you choose an output selection for brightness, and to access the strobe mode, press and hold for 1.2 seconds. Due to its small stature, this EDC also features three accidental activation protections to preserve your battery whether it is being stored in your pocket or bag:

1. The switch is concave and is the height of the surrounding metal ring, making it protected from bumping and accidental activation.
2. The body clip conveniently rotates so you can easily move it above the side switch to prevent it from turning on.
3. With the flashlight turned off, double click the switch to access the Lock/Unlock mode.
