Improved Design and Outputs
Light up the night with 3rd generation of the Fenix PD40R! Featuring up to 3,000 lumens that can shine over 1,500 feet. The PD40R V3.0 is designed to use energy efficiently, giving you up to 89 hours of runtime on one charge. The new heat dissipation system is independent of the switch and encourages optimal functioning even when you're using high outputs. This makes the PD40R V3.0 a great companion for long outdoor excursions or jobs.
One-Handed Rotary Switch
Fenix's PD40R V3.0 makes it easy to operate with one hand thanks to the rotary switch. All modes are accessible by rotating the dial. With the new inclusion of an SOS mode, in addition to a 3,000 lumen strobe, you'll be prepared for unforeseen emergencies in an instant!
High-Powered Battery
The PD40R V3.0 is powered by a USB-C rechargeable 5,000mAh li-ion battery. The universal USB-C port makes it easy to power up on the go, saving you time and money on replacements. It comes with an ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery, but is also compatible with the Fenix ARB-L21-4000P. With an average recharge time of only 3 hours, you'll be fully powered and back in the field in no time!
