Portable power for cutting edge devices

This kit allows you to charge your Apple iPod or iPhone (iPhone 4S and earlier) virtually anywhere. It offers three convenient ways to charge: from a USB port, using 110V-240V AC from a wall outlet, or from a 12V cigarette lighter socket.

Enhanced internal circuitry manages charging status and prevents over-charging and under-charging, as well as voltage backflow (when used in a 12V system). This is a must for any traveler. The AC power adapter has a type A plug (US) but is able to handle international voltages (up to 240V AC) with the appropriate plug adapter.

I use this charger all the time! Its so convenient that I can charge my iPhone from my car when I\'m driving, from my home or office, and from my computer all from this one inexpensive device! Good overall quality!

Can this also be used to charge an iPad?

This will charge iPhones (4, 3G, 3GS), iPods, and iPads that have the older generation charge port. This will not charge any Apple product with the newer and smaller charge port.
