bright little light
light works very well and is bright for its size. easily fits in a shirt pocket and it is very covenant to carry around
Prossize and brightness
ConsI own 2 of these lights and the only thing I have found to be a problem is the on/off button doesn't work correctly after a while. I find I have to hold the button to keep the light on.

My best EDC flashlight!
I love this small flashlight made by JETBeam and it is good for my everyday carry.
ProsI like the throw (turbo mode) at 550 lumens and it is well built, very solid. Can take CR123 battery or RCR123 battery.
ConsIt can get hot quickly in turbo mode, nothing else really.

Great little light!
I have had this little light as one of my EDC lights for many years now. It is an impressive little light. Decent output for a single cell light. While it will get hot when using it for long periods, I would expect that. I have only ran CR123 cells through it without problems. And have only had 2 incidents, over the years, of other items in a pocket accidently turning on the light and draining it. Overall, a great little light.
ProsSingle cell High output for a single cell Durable construction

impressive little light
I wanted a subcompact light with a lot of features but I didn't think one existed. I saw the PC-10 advertised and ordered it from BatteryJunction. I was impressed from the start. I like the design. I like the mode selections. I like the performance. It is prone to heating up but most all high intensity lights do that during extended periods of use. I actually like it because when it inadvertently activated in my pants pocket, the only way I know it's on is when my leg gets hot. But generally it is not prone to accidental activation. I have several flashlights that run on CR123s so to save some money, I use rechargeable batteries and keep spares on hand. So far in the nearly 2 years that I've had this light, there have been no issues or complaints.
Prossubcompact design, brightness, lighting options, switch location and design, price $44 at time of purchase

Fit and finish issues
To those having thermal issues, perhaps your pill isn\'t firmly set into the head. I\'ve had \"loose pill\" issues with lights before. It doesn\'t need an RMA, usually just a little TLC. That said, I just bought a replacement PC10 that refuses to light with RCR123 like my last one did. This light shows EXCEPTIONAL promise.. these quirks are killing it. I suspect Jetbeam wants to promote the new line and forget the old (and ROCKING products.) If yours lights with an RCR123, you\'ve got a good one. If you\'re getting thermal shutdown, check your head. Try and twist the pill further in.

Hot and Fast
I love the small size and power but with the RCR 123 batteries, the light gets very hot after a few minutes and a fresh full battery shuts off from overheating after 5-10 minutes. Complete battery drain in 15 minutes at highest power which is what I need. When will i ever find a GOOD flashlight that can handle long nighttime use.

not worth it
I have purchased several different lights from Batteryjunction and always been happy with my choices. I ordered this light to have a small white light source on me while in afganistan. The shipping was fast even this far away. The light itself seemed solid and well built, and initally it put out a good pattern and bright. Then mid mission the light just turned off.... huge problem with that. I tried regular and rechargable batteries, all different types with the same shut off issue happening at random. at this point i have given up on the light its usless when you HAVE to have a light that works. Im staying with Olight from now on.

Best single CR123 light
Joe is right. Go for the RCR123, this thing really lights up bright with the RCR.

\"The Noisy Cricket\"
So I recently ordered this from BatteryJunction.com, mostly because their selection is great, they ship quickly, and their prices are good. I was looking for a good single cell 123A sized pocket carry light, but I wanted to see decent performance numbers and a smooth reflector. I saw \"550 lumens\", the pricepoint, and remembering my good experiences with the jetbeam raptor? I was sold. So I\'ve been running a regular CR123A battery in it, getting the 265 lumens it gets from such. I\'ve loved it. Great throw for such a little light, good flood too. Well, I finally popped in an RCR123. This thing opens up a whole *Case* of whoop-***. I then said: \"That\'s ridiculous. This is absolutely nonsensical- I think I may order another!\" I\'ve now affectionately nicknamed it \"The noisy cricket\", after Will Smith\'s piece in Men in Black.

Great single CR123 edc light
This JetBeam is 3.5\" long, compact, has a quality build, with RCR123 is really bright. The UI took a little getting used to, but easily mastered. Mostly I use the middle mode. Did a lot of research for a single RCR123 light. This was it. 550 lumens nothing can come close. More than satisfied. Battery Junction shipped quickly.
