The tail cap not only has its' patented dual-switch for easy control over multiple settings, but also comes with a feature of a lock-out function. The light can easily be put into lock-out mode with a half twist of the head to prevent accidental activation whether in your pocket or on your hip. The reverse polarity eliminates damage from incorrect battery orientation.
