Great tough multitool

It's a little limited in what it can do but it is very tough. I do wish that the clip was a little tighter or stronger since it does tend to open up over time and then it has a tendency to fall out of pockets. The finish is phenomenal though. I have never seen any corrosion on mine even after use when I go fishing.

Handy, yet simplistic

I have had a Skeletool for many years. It is a simple tool with a blade, pliers, two screwdrivers and bottle opener. If you would like a knife with the utility of a multi tool, in a small package, this is it. I do wish they made a straight blade version, as I do prefer my knives to not have serrations, but that is no fault to the knife, just preference.

Not the highest quality knife, may get some rust on it time to time, but easy to clean up. I would also recommend the additional bit kit if you need it for the screwdrivers.

Small, compact package gives you the basic functions of a multi tool without the bulk.

Fantastic EDC Multi-tool

I've had the Skeletool for about four months now and it's spent a lot of time being EDC'd in my pocket. I also own a Gerber Crucial multi-tool, which is about the same size with a lot of the same features. The Crucial costs about half as much and I'd say that's appropriate. The Skeletool is an excellently designed and implemented tool. After just a few minutes of playing around with it I'm sure most people would conclude it's a high-quality multi-tool. After using it on many, various projects, I can say that's an accurate statement.

Pros

+ Everything about the Skeletool feels high-quality.
+ The screwdriver, while not perfectly implemented, is great in that it can take Leatherman's 2d bits. The onboard storage lets you have two bits on the tool so you can customize it to your needs (other bits are sold separately).
+ The knife is very handy and easy to access from the outside.

Cons

- You have to halfway open the tool to use the screwdriver. The shape of the handle in that position makes it not so ideal for twisting around in a screwdriving motion. It works fine for doing a half-turn and repeating, but not for spinning all the way around (hopefully that makes sense).
- I'm worried the extra screwdriver bit will fall out of its storage space at some point. I think it would take a fair bit of force to knock it loose, but it's still a worry. I wish the bit storage could only be accessed when the tool was opened.
