Millite Finger Lighti IR Infrared LEDThe Millite Infrared LED finger light is an ultra bright flashlight that's great to have on hand... literally. Designed for aviators and military professionals, it is worn on your index finger like a ring and operated by your thumb. The ambidextrous design has switches on both sides so it can be worn on either your left or right finger.The body of this tough, rugged finger light has 3 layers of molded plastics and a rubber coating for optimal shock absorbance and isolation. The Velcro strap can be adjusted to fit any size finger and can even be worn over gloves.Low, high, and blinking modes are selected by holding the on/off switch. As a safety feature, it will automatically switch to a high intense blinking after 8 minutes of continuous operation for emergency self-identification.It runs on three LR44 batteries and weighs so little you won't even know it's there. It is waterproof up to 5 feet, so while it can't be used for diving it can withstand any torrential downpour or harsh weather conditions you throw at it. It can also be rinsed off it if gets dirty. Excellent to use when you need directed light but still need full use of your hands, such as when flying at night, operating a weapon, throwing grenades, reading a map, spotting a target, or working in tight spaces. This is the infrared LED version (which is not visible to the human eye but shows up great under night vision), but the same light is also available with the following LED's: red, white, green, and night vision green (a teal-green color).
