The Orbiter Dash Mount system is composed of three unique pieces for a more ergonomic user experience. In addition to the magnetic socket and the spherical mount, the mounting system comes with an extremely thin metal plate that sticks onto your phone or phone case using a strong adhesive. The plate can then be attached to the powerful magnetic socket and rotated around the dash mount. The addition of the metal plate rids the need to permanently attach the socket to your phone, allowing it to keep a thinner profile and making it easier to carry.
