Better Than Ever

Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Nitecore HC60-V2 is a headlamp built for any adventure. Now, improved with increased lumen output and integrated USB-C charging, this version takes what truly shined about the original and amps it up with new features.

New Max Output

With the addition of a single OSRAM P9 LED, the HC60-V2 has a max output of 1,200 lumens. This increased output makes this headlamp the perfect candidate for camping, climbing, trail running, and numerous other outdoor activities where going hands-free is a must. Combine that with a throw of 130 meters and a 100° beam spread and you've got a recipe for a new favorite headlamp. Plus, adjust the beam with a 180° turning mechanism built into the bracket.

Integrated USB-C Charging

Like the original, the V2 is powered by either a single 18650 or two CR123A cells. This dual compatibility makes it easy to switch between power sources on a dime without wasting time for a full recharge. However, if you have ample time to spare, Nitecore has added a built-in USB-C charging port when you're running the HC60-V2 off of an 18650 battery. This port automatically stops charging when the battery is full and completely recharges in 5 hours.

Love this for camping - great headlamp

I work leading outdoor expeditions and this is a great headlamp. It gets really bright, even just on medium - it's helpful because sometimes my clients don't bring the proper personal lighting, so I can light up a large area for multiple people if we have to set up camp in the dark. The adjustable piece is firm, I can tilt the head down so I don't accidentally shine light into other people's eyes. If I keep the settings on medium or lower, the battery lasts for multi-day trips without running out. But if it starts to run out, it's easy enough to charge, which is nice. Helps me save on weight.

I find myself using this a lot at home too, the headband is comfortable and secure. Great to keep around if I have to go out at night. Stays secure on my head no matter what I'm doing.

Nice new Headlamp

I have a much old model and the new units have some good improvements. The tilt-up and down is firm, but amount right so once set it doesn't move on you. The USB-C charger port is under the cap to keep it weatherproof. The button is on the front and I think I would have preferred the side, but it works just fine. On a dark night at the lowest level you can still see where you are going, Set it and high and everything lit up. The only I wish they had done was make the beam adjustable. I have a different light that is adjustable and find that is a little better. The has a very wide beam which could be good or bad, based on where you are using it. A tighter beam doesn't put a light in areas you don't want, but the wider unit will light a path and everything out to 20ft on each side as the light level is falling off. The headband feels great.
