Red & White Light + Bright Flood Output
The Nitecore HC70 UHE is a compact headlamp weighing less than a roll of nickels. It provides both red and white light sources compatible with a wide range of applications outdoors, at work, and on Search and Rescue operations. It has a range of white light brightness levels including SOS and Beacon modes, as well as a slow-flashing red output for emergencies. The controls are easy to use, comprised of 2 distinct buttons that are operable with one hand and in the dark.
UHE Optical Matrix System
Using an array of 6 x cool white NiteLab UHE LEDs, the HC70 UHE emits a beam up to 1600 lumens bright and over 510 feet long. The LED array is situated in a matrix design, complemented by a broad, multifaceted light-emitting surface that creates a wide, 100° angle beam that provides clearer, more defined object illumination.
Rugged, Adaptive Build
The HC70 UHE is powered by a 21700 lithium-ion battery, but Nitecore provides the best available: the NL2160, with a massive 6,000mAh capacity, is included. The battery is rechargeable in-body via the headlamp's USB-C port, which achieves a full charge in only 3.3 hours. Thanks to its low power-consumption design, a full battery can achieve an active runtime of 220 hours or a standby time of a full year! You can keep track of the remaining battery with the easy-to-read 4-stage indicator LEDs. The light itself is crafted from anodized aluminum alloy and polycarbonate, and features extensive protections against water, dust, and impacts, so it remains ready for rugged use.
The headlamp comes with a lightweight, hollow headband which is breathable, skin-friendly, and anti-slip in its design, as well as compatible with work helmets. The specialized bracket design allows for 180-degree tilt adjustment to better focus on the task at hand. Tilting upwards doubles as a transportation safety protocol, preventing accidental activations during storage. Direct, full lockout control is also available.
