Camping Lantern and Powerbank in One!

The Nitecore LR60 will quickly become your new favorite lantern. Powered by two 21700 or two 18650 batteries, this light has a list of must-have features including a 280 lumen output, high CRI LEDs, and a powerbank and battery charge function.

With nine 90+ CRI LEDs in the LR60, this lantern accurately renders color within its beam and adds a warm color temperature (4000-4500K). This beam combination results in a beam that's easy on the eyes and has a max output of 280 lumens for all your camping needs.

Charging and Powerbank Functions

The LR60 comes with a built-in USB-C charging port, allowing you to recharge your 21700 or 18650 batteries while they're inside your light. Featuring multiple safeguards, your batteries will safely and effectively recharge through the USB-C port.

It's also possible to discharge power through the LR60 and turn it into a powerbank. Recharge headlamps, digital cameras, and smartphones with ease and have backup power while out in the wilderness.

Multiple Charging Safeguards

The Nitecore LR60 has mulitple charging safeguards in place ensuring that your batteries recieve the best care.

Over-Discharged Li-ion Battery Activation

After the batteries are inserted, the LR60 tests and activates over-discharged batteries due to improper use or storage.

Over-Discharge Protection

When the batteries are fully charged, an indicator light will turn on and the LR60 will cease charging the batteries.

Mechanical Reverse Polarity Protection

Prevents accidental harm to the circuits due to reversed polarities.

Thermal Protection

Constructed from durable and fire-retardant PC materials for constant protection from excessive heat.

ON/OFF
When the light is OFF< press and hold both buttons until the LOW level is accessed. When the light is ON, short press both buttons to turn it off.
Brightness Levels
When the light is ON, short press either button to cycle through the following brightness levels: MID - HIGH - LOW
Illuminable Direction Settings
3 illumination directions are available (top and both sides) for different needs according to the surroundings. When the light is ON, press and hold either button to cycle through the following direction settings: TOP - ONE SIDE - TOP and ONE SIDE - ALL. Release to select the current direction setting. This function has mode memory. When reactivated the LR60 will automatically access the LOW levle of the previous memorized direction setting.
Special Modes (Beacon / SOS)
When the light is OFF, press and hold both buttons to cycle through the following modes: LOW - BEACON - SOS. Release to select the current mode. Turning OFF the light will exit special modes.
Location Indication
When the Location Indicator is turned ON, the blue indicator located at the top of the product will flash once every 2 seconds to indicate the location of the LR60. When the light is ON, press and hold both buttons for over 2 seconds to turn OFF the light and access Location Indication. With 2 x 21700 Li-ion batteries, the standby time is approx. 6 months with Location Indication turned ON and approx 12 months with this function turned OFF. Reactivating the LR60 will turn off this function.

A lot to like here.

Long run time with two 21700 batteries. Lots of juice available for an emergency charge for your cell phone and still have light for hours. High CRI is easy on the eyes. You're able to direct the light in various ways. Now I can dump the 2 or 3 other lanterns I've got and get some of my money back on eBay.

Exceeds the need

Actually, this is my third LR60. 2 for home and 1 for the car. It is bright which is nice but when the power goes out (last week) I love it's long run times and the ability to direct the light where needed. I've used it for reading, general illumination and a night light. The ability to direct all the light straight up to a white ceiling is huge as indirect lighting is much easier on the eyes. I've also used it upside down with the magnet holding the LR60 to the ceiling fan.

The 21700 batteries give it a lot of capacity. But it also takes 18650's and even 123 primary batteries. Very versatile. It can charge my phone and on and on. I was thinking of getting one big rechargable lantern for home but the LR60 is so much more portable and versatile. I am most impressed,

Not all 21700 batteries will work in Nitecore LR60

Bought the Nitecore LR60 due to the ability to use 18650 and 21700 batteries. Found out that
21700 batteries with postive terminal bigger than 79 mm will not work like the Klarus 21GT-50.
There is a small air gap between battery terminal and LR 60 terminal, which is slighty recessed.
