Good quality light

The flashlight lives up to Nitecore�s build quality, which is outstanding. Personally I don�t care for the way the switch operates on this flashlight (hold down the button and it cycles through brightness levels). I prefer the method my other Nitecore products use (press and release to cycle through the brightness levels). Either way, you can�t go wrong with Nitecore.

Let there be light, is an understatement !

Simplicity at it's finest, this is one of the easiest flashlights to operate, there is no guess work involved, push the power button and hold down to cycle through the different brightness levels. Double click the power button for strobe, while in strobe mode, keep the power button depressed for a few seconds, a brief locator flash will come on, then an SOS. The only drawback I see in incorporating the strobe, locater flash and SOS this way, is that, no matter what brightness level you're on, the strobe will always be on turbo, when cycling through the different modes, The way I see it, if you are in an emergency situation, it really doesn't matter. The NL2140/4000 mAh 21700 rechargeable battery is humongous but that also translates to a longer run time as well as not having to recharge as often. It comes with a mini USB charger, very handy ! When you unscrew the battery cap, the threads are fantastic, smooth as silk. Very serious spot with no lines within the flood area, I would feel totally comfortable taking this light on any extreme expedition. Excellent hold, last brightness level memory. Nightcore, did it again !
