Excellent little rechargable flashlight

I purchased my Nitecore MH251GTS in November 2018 and have used it just over a year now. It is a very versatile light that fits nicely in the palm of my hand and is easy to grip due to the contours of the body of the light. It is very bright at maximum setting and I usually keep the memory on a lower brightness setting. I use the burst function for maximum brightness. The micro USB charging is very handy. I use a Nitecore NL1835HP 3500mAh rechargeable battery in it, and the run time is awesome between charges. Only one downside to the actual light is the glass lens cracked on me from when I used max brightness for an extended time while searching a large warehouse in the middle of the night. The end of the light became very hot from the LED. Only other downside deals with the holster which does not hold the flashlight securely. The flashlight handle slips through the bottom of the holster and then is a pain to get the flashlight out quickly. I modified the holster to keep this from happening. All in all I am very happy with my purchase, and am thinking about buying another one to keep in my truck.

Nitecore NH25GTS. It's good for my daily use.

Although the push button on the Nitecore NH25GTS is not 100% responsive for toggling through the different modes It's good enough for my daily use.

Otherwise, it's very well built and the charging dock cover that doesn't stay on all the time is not in my way. The light levels are good. I think that for the $80 that I bought it for, it does the job because it came with a rechargeable battery that I can recharge in the flashlight. I have another dual charger at a different location which I don't have to be dependent on anymore.

I bought the Nitecore NH25GTS because I lost my other flashlight and I needed to replace it. This is not the hottest new toy on earth but it's a good carry along size; it's well built, with decent brightness levels. I also like that I can use the Nitecore NH25GTS to recharge the rechargeable battery from my other flashlight

Nitecore makes great lights and the MH25GTS is one of their best to date. The beam is a perfect mix of throw and spill with very useful settings. The ultralow 1 lumen doesn't sound like much but it is plenty of light to preserve night vision while navigating a dark camp, checking a map or finding the TV remote for us hardcore adventurers. The low setting of 70 lumens is about right for a work light where anything brighter reflects too much light back into your eyes. The 240 lumens is good for general use with the 950 and 1800 lumen settings taking care of large area jobs when you really need to see what's out there. All in all, the MH25GTS is a very impressive light. Exceptional build quality with solid controls, on-board charging, high capacity battery and a durable holster. It earns 5 stars.
