The Nitecore NU25 is uniquely crafted for comprehensive high performance, standing out among headlamps and even many flashlights. The NU25 light source array bears an impressive level of attention to detail, with every piece being optimized for a magnificent lighting experience indoors and out!
Comprising the bulb array are a pair of distinctly constructed primary LEDs, with one lamp casting a vast floodlight and the other a spotlight with incredible, focused intensity and 5,500K daylight color temperature. The third light source produces highly adaptable red light, which is employed by professionals in activities including reading maps, emergency response, stargazing, wildlife observation as well as hunting and fishing, and taking photos at night.
Deep Arsenal of Output Modes, Each with a Range of Brightness Levels!
To make the most of its flood, spot, and red light sources, the NU25 emits versatile modes including a hybrid flood/spot light beam setting. The modes activate different light sources with varying brightness and performance capabilities, ranging from a high-powered 400-lumen mixed beam with a 2hr 40min runtime to an ultralow floodlight emitting the minimum 6 lumens for 45 perseverant hours total. To save power, the NU25 has a lockout function to prevent incidental activation of the light.
Lightweight 400L or Ultra Lightweight UL Model Options
As if the NU25 weren't enough, Nitecore created two models of the light for those who need even less weight drag, usually because of high-endurance endeavors.
First is the 1.98-ounce NU25-400L, the standard model which includes a signature yellow Nitecore headband that doubles as a sweatband to protect your eyes from perspiration. We also have the NU25-UL (Ultra Lightweight), which clocks in at just 1.59 ounces, 20% lighter than the 400L version. The Ultra Lightweight model comes with a corded headstrap that reduces weight as much as possible. Both the yellow headband and corded headstrap are glow-in-the-dark and reflective for added road safety.
