The new Nitecore P10i is a lightweight tactical flashlight in the i-Generation series of 21700 lights. The P10i is equipped with a Luminus SST-40-W LED and Precision Digital Optical system that provides a focused and far-reaching beam. It has three brightness settings (plus strobe) and can emit up to 1,800 lumens that can reach 290 meters away - perfect for tactical, law enforcement, hunting and security personnel.
Tactical Ready
The P10i was built for tactical and hunting purposes with a slim design and dual tail switches, it is compatible with a wide range of accessories and quick response activation. The dual tail switches provide instant access to momentary-on, constant-on and strobe. The strobe on this light has a randomly changing strobe pattern that has stronger dizzying effects on the naked eye.
i-Series 21700 Battery
The P10i flashlight is powered by one Nitecore 21700i Battery and has a maximum run time of 50 hours on low. This series of batteries has been upgraded and features a patented dual-way output and design to ensure longer run times while minimizing the loss of power. Also capable of accepting 2 x CR123A or RCR123A batteries, the user has more power source options.

This flashlight comes with a proprietary 21700-sized battery, and is not compatible with conventional 21700 batteries, nor batteries without an output of at least 8A.
For a spare or replacement battery, only buy the Nitecore NL2150HPi.
This flashlight features intelligent temperature technology, and will automatically adjust the brightness output to prevent overheating and damage to your flashlight and batteries.

I've recently started ordering rechargeable batteries for my shop. I got 2 of these as a test for my crew leaders. Everyone else has the P10 V2 some with NL1835 batteries, some with the CR123A. Initially the idea was to see if they would like charging them themselves and if it they were durable enough to handle our foundry work. I trust my leads with the pricier stuff and I figure they would like how much longevity the 4000 mAh batteries they come with have.
My leads love them, not for the reason I was expecting. 1800 lumens is a lot more than the 1100 on the P10 V2. So bright, all the guys know when its a lead shining on them or the metal.
The big 4000 mAh NL2140i batteries these come with go for days without charge.
I got 2 extra of the 5000mAh NL2150HPi and charged them as a surprise backup but because they can plug them in like a cell phone between shifts neither of them even knows.
Very bright, they don't get too hot even with prolonged use, can handle abuse and they don't drain batteries too bad.
