With a quad-LED configuration, the Nitecore P20iX emits a dazzling 4,000 lumens. Combine that with a max throw of 221 meters and you've got the recipe for an all-time favorite tactical light for law enforcement, security, and more! This mode is instantly accessible with a single hold of the MODE button.

Simplified Tactical Interface

Straightforward and to the point, the dual tactical switch interface on the P20iX gets you to the output mode you want fast and easy. With two distinguishable buttons: a typical tactical tail switch and a mode button - single-handedly gain access to all the P20iX has to offer. The tactical switch grants access to momentary and constant-on while the mode switch is for output adjustment and instant access to turbo or strobe.

Dual Fuel Compatibility

Get the power of a 21700 or two CR123As with the P20iX. This light comes with a 21700i series proprietary battery, this allows the light to run at its max and the use of integrated USB-C charging. However, if you don't have time for a recharge, it's quick and easy to throw in two CR123As with the included battery magazine and be on your way.

Customized 21700

The P20iX runs on a proprietary 21700 battery that has a positive and negative polarities at each end. Conventional 21700 batteries will not work.

Using the Nitecore NL2150R battery

This flashlight won't work on Nitecore NL2150R batteries. My answer from Nitecore as to why, The Nitecore P20iX USB-C Rechargeable LED Flashlight uses the Nitecore NL2150HPi 21700 as it is a proprietary 21700 battery. The light will be unable to work with the Nitecore NL2150R 21700. It would be nice if they put that information in the ad. So I have $75 worth of batteries that are JUNK. It would be nice if I could focus the flashlight beam into a spotlight. Other than that the light does work good.

Excellent white-waller

I purchased this light as a part of my household-use upgrades. The last time I updated my household lights was in 2006, so I knew simply from the spec sheet that this was going to be a rather huge upgrade, in terms of output and features.

The light is an exceptional white-waller. As previous reviewers noted, there's virtually no hot-spot, but instead an immense area of corona and spill. It's exceptional for closer-in work, with the turbo mode readily filling even my 26' x 22' great-room when I umbrella the light off its 30' ceiling.

In my experience, turbo throttles-back at about the 30-second mark, but even so, the light remains more than bright enough for me to see anything I might need to see in my great-room.

Switchology is intuitive and well placed.

Overall, I am very, very happy with this light. I own many Surefires, Malkoffs, Modlites and a Cloud Defensive 18650 MCH, and this light is currently one of my main home workhorses.

Vey compact super bright broadbeam flashlight with excellent control features.

This is one of the smallest flashlights I own. And it holds its own against my biggest brightest light. Quite amazing. Of course you can't run it in all out turbo mode for long duration as it'll likely overheat. But the highest normal mode is still very bright. It has flood type coverage, perfect for indoors or a fairly close range outdoor situation. The hot spot is almost non-existent. The belt holster is well made. Easy to grab the light in an emergency and immediately fire the dizzying strobe against a would be attacker. It will memorize any of the normal output ranges. And when on, you can access the turbo mode in a momentary mode using the secondary mode tail switch. The only other tiny light I own that can play almost as bright is the original Thrunite TH30 designed to be a headlamp with a similar wide beam. But because it's so small, it heats up a lot faster. Overall, the P20iX with its four LED emitters, which should provide good longevity, is a very fine flashlight.

Really lights things up!

I love this P20iX and how well it lights up an area. Very bright and clean field of view. The strobe feature at the rear of the light makes it really easy to use and is a great security feature if needed. Very well designed light with a great holster. I do wish it could stay on turbo longer but thats ok. I am very happy with my choice of this light.

Great flashlight with only one drawback

I light this flashlight but there is one major problem with it. It does not remember the output setting when I turn it off. Every time I turn it off and on again it goes back to MAX output and I have to adjust the output again.

Bright Buys
