Charging On-the-Go

The Nitecore UI1 is a portable USB Li-ion battery charger. Quickly attach to a USB cable and charge up batteries anywhere from the office, car, home, or out and about. The USB attachment gives the UI1 the ability to be more portable than other chargers with a small and compact design that allows it to fit in a pocket, backpack, or safely tucked away in a drawer. With the micro-USB input, it is easy to connect the UI1 to any external power source from a USB adapter, a computer, or a power bank with a USB input.

Charge Smarter Not Harder

With a max charging current of 800mA, it is easy to quickly charge up all of your compatible batteries in a pinch. With batteries with a voltage of 2.9 or higher, the Nitecore UI1 will access Standard Mode with it's max charging current. Meanwhile, if a battery with a voltage below 2.9 is inserted, Low Current Charging Mode will be accessed instead, with a current of 100mA. The UI1 is capable of activating over-discharged Li-ion batteries with a protective circuit, simply insert the battery and the charger will do the rest - ultimately saving time and money by preventing you from having to buy new Li-ion batteries.

Multiple Protection Systems

Mutliple charging safeguards featured in the Nitecore UI1 will utlimately protect batteries from internal or external damage, in addition to protecting the charger. Anti-short circuiting and reverse polarity protections prevent short-cicruited or batteries inserted with polars reversed will flash to indicate an error and prevent charging. Intelligent Thermal protections will prevent charger from overheating in a high temperature work environment and will automatically regulate the charging current to protect the charger and battery lying within the UI1. Lastly, when the battery is fully charged, the charger will cease charging to prevent overcharging Li-ion batteries.
