Has some uses... could be much better made

The DoohicKey QuicKey Tool is entitled a 4-in-1 Multi-Tool, and the description gives 5 aspects: "Includes a scoring point, bottle opener, file, serrated edge, and a #2 flat head screwdriver". Bottle opener - yes. #2 screwdriver - Well, Ok, but maybe hard to turn in-hand. File? Not so agressive; more like jimping (series of closely spaced grooves) on the backside of the key. Serrations? Had to use a diamond taper file to sharpen these serrations, especially the 'peaks' of the serrations, which are critical to 'biting in and ripping'... capability might only be string or grasses - paracord would be tough to cut. Scoring point? Really? Maybe that 5th aspect is not one of the official 4... you see the image of piercing a plastic blister pack? Not unless you sharpen the lower leading edge of the Key... but then it may cut a hole in your pocket if you sit on the keys in your pocket. The QuicKey Tool is unexpectedly heavy (compared to a typical key). They missed what might be its best aspect - this Key can also be used as a prying tool (instead of your pocket knife blade). So is it useful? If you sharpen the serrations, if you occasionally find a need to pry with this size item, if you just need to tighten a #2 size flat head screw (not start and drive it), if you do open bottles, then will be useful for you and will fit flat with your keys,
Pros
  • Bottle Opener - yup.
  • Serrated Edge - if you sharpen it well (if you don't, you might not be able even to cut that loose thread)
  • #2 flat head screwdriver - only for tightening up an already set screw (half-turns)
  • Prying tool - solid enough to do that instead of the blade of your pocket knife (a use not mentioned)
Cons
  • Scoring point - nope (I'd not sharpen that leading edge, it will take lots of work and then it will poke/cut your pocket)
  • File - nope (no help here, these are more jimping groves, not aggressive enough to cut like a file)
  • Serrated Edge - if you sharpen it well (will take a good diamond tapered file)
  • #2 flat head screwdriver - only for tightening up an already set screw (too awkward to use other than a half-turn or two)
