Slightly longer (by 1/32 of an inch) than The 3.6 volt that came with my solar lights but does fit in my solar lights.

These 14500 batteries are slightly longer than standard AA batteries, so if the device you're going to put the 14500 into, you'd better make sure there is more than enough room when a standard AA battery is in it first and it can handle the higher voltage. Other than that, the batteries hold their charge very well and provide good output and runtime.

purchased a s10 olight and decided to buy as an option power source. not disappointed, I use this flashlight everyday and its been over a month and still have not recharged. Very pleased with quality

The Olight 14500 3.7V rechargeable Li-ion battery only has 750mAh compared to the a rechargeable Energizer which has 2300mAh. Will like to know if that will make a difference or last longer once installed in my ST25 Baton?

Higher capacities (mAh) provide longer runtimes.

The 750 mAh capacity the olight battery has is @ 3.7v, which needs to be calculated differently from the Energizer, which are NiMH batteries (1.2v). to make it simple, the OLight 14500 have about 2.8Wh of capacity, but the energizer AA only has 2.2Wh. Lithiums-ion (those olight 14500) have many advantages over NiMH: better capacity, more useful voltage/output across the usage, better low temperature performance, lower self discharge, more recharge cycle, etc. Only downsides are that you need to keep them over 2.8v, else they will get damaged. But usually the cell itself has a built-in over discharge protection (like those olight 14500) so you don't even have to worry. It will make a noticeable difference tho, if your light doesn't "understand" li-ion, it'll simply shut-off completly when the cell reach 2.8v (cell protection circuit will activate). With a NiMH cell, it would fade away at the end of the usage capacity, even if you have a light that regulates the output. If you are equipped with a charger that can handle those 3.7 Li-Ion, there is no doubt that they are better than NiMH if you seek the best performance possible. NiMH are better only in one area: safety, and this is only marginal. Do your dog chew your cells regularly? No? then you're good with li-ion. cheers!
