A Great Addition to the Other Olight Models

Olight is pleased to bring you the SRMini Intimidator II, a new flashlight that is a great addition to the other Olight models like the SRMini LED flashlight. The Intimidator II now has an outstanding output of 3200 lumens in mode 1/Turbo. In mode 2, the output is 1600 lumens and in mode 3, the Intimidator II's output is 800 lumens. The Intimidator II has a further fourth mode that has an output of 200 lumens. The burn rates of the different modes are these: 3h for mode 2; 5.5h for mode 3; and 16h for mode 4.

Scorching Candela Rate Takes Care of All Your Illumination Needs

The candela rate/peak beam intensity of the Intimidator II is a scorching 18000cd, which is sure to take care of all your illumination needs. The beam distance/throw distance of this extraordinary and compact little flashlight is a far-ranging 268m. This little Olight has a formidable IPX-8 rating, indicating that it is waterproof and is ready to be exposed to the elements if need be. This is a physically strong flashlight with an impact resistance of 1.5m, so it can stand up to a lot of common household or on-the-job tussle. The Intimidator II's Type III hard-anodized aluminum shell contributes to its hardy and powerful construction. The Intimidator II contains three Cree XM-L2 LEDs that boost your light's performing power and that enable it to remain extremely bright. This flashlight also has a knurled surface on its body, which allows the user a strong and firm grasp when they are holding their flashlight.

Sweeping, Diffuse Beam Manages To Stay Focused and Smooth

The SRMini Intimidator II is engineered for tactical uses primarily, with law enforcement markets in mind; although, this is a great option as well for a civilian who is looking for a versatile and rugged flashlight for outdoor use. Olight's Intimidator II also counts among its brightness levels a strobe mode, which is designed for tactical or self-defense situations. Furthermore, there is a shock-resistant, crenelated bezel made of robust stainless steel on the flashlight head to aid you in such tactical or self-defense scenarios like breaking glass or fending off an attacker. Instead of a reflector, the Intimidator II incorporates a TIR lens; TIR stands for total internal reflection, which means that your flashlight gets to have the best of both worlds--you have a sweeping, diffuse beam that manages to stay focused and smooth. This lens is formed out of acrylic, which ensures that it is very durable and it will not break. The secret to the Olight's diffuse but smooth beam is a lens surface that possesses a shape that is similar in structure and in appearance to a honeycomb. This is a very unique characteristic, one that you may not find outside Olight flashlights.

Not To Be Dismissed

The SRMini Intimidator II comes with a host of other valuable features, too. One such feature is the convenient charging power indicator that is LED-powered and informs you of your device's charge level. There is also an attractive improvement over previous flashlights in the form of a micro-USB charging port that has a charging current rate of up to 1500mA. This light is able to stay upright thanks to its flat tailcap. The switch, with the ability to lock and unlock, is located on the side of the flashlight and with it, you can control the various brightness levels. The Olight SRMini Intimidator II takes three 18650 batteries, and has the Olight five year warranty. Included with your Olight SRMini Intimidator II are a micro-USB cable and a holster. This small, chunky light is not to be dismissed!

Oboy! Olight!
I am sitting down getting ready to remove my fully charged Oight Mini Intimidator from the USB multiport I installed and what pops up but an email asking me to review it. Coincidence? Maybe. Anyway, I really love this little power house light. It comes in a nice plastic storage case. Like all of today's super flashlights (for lack of a better term) it takes a day or two of playing around and using it to feel comfortable with it. It came with a USB charge cable which is very handy and a great belt pouch. This is not a pants pocket light so using the pouch is probably the best way to carry it although I like keeping it in my coat pocket so there isn't a big bulge under the coat which looks like you're packin". The 3 power levels plus turbo are more than adequate for me and so far I have not run the batteries down to dead. The feel is solid and has the feel in hand of a fine firearm. The only thing I wish Olight would have done was to put a few flat spots on the flashlight case so it doesn't have such a tendency to roll. Putting on the lanyard stopped this. All in all, a great light!
ProsSolid, super bright and doesn't eat a lot of power.
Consjust needs a couple of flat spots to keep it from rolling on a flat surface.

Beacon Bright for nighttime walks
I was disappointed with another flashlight's rechargeable removable battery performance, so this SRMini Intimidator II attracted me with the higher lumen output and recharge-ability via micro USB plug on side of flashlight. I was shocked by how much light this throws for a 'pocket' easily portable flashlight. I absolutely love this for its light output and ready recharge without removing batteries. This is brighter than the headlights of my 10-year old car! I use it to daily walk the dog at night when my neighborhood gets quite dark. It's like a police spot light that can light up an entire yard with bright white light and no hotspots. Passing cars can't miss me and always significantly slow down when passing the dog and I - they seemed to be amazed with it's brightness. Very happy with length of battery life between charges, and I always like to use it on it's brightest setting. This old guy (and the dog) feel quite safe at night with my Intimidator. I added a parachute cord home-made wrist strap as it has no strap and clip.
ProsBest light output - super bright (intimidating to would be perps) Easy & rapid recharge with changing batteries Long battery light It should come with a removable strap device
ConsIt's chubby/not comfortable in jeans pocket on long walks Relatively heavy compared to other portables but easily manageable

Powerful light
This light is small but powerful. I use it as a home defense light. You can quickly check any noises in the yard by lighting the entire property up quickly. I will say it will not work great it you have a million acre farm, but for one to two acres it works great. It is also great as an emergency light. In the low setting, you can stand it on its end and light up a room brightly for hours. The built in charger is great and and be charged anywhere from teh micro usb

Better Deal then G20
I've bought Klarus G20 in the past based on "most lumens per $" and am very happy with it. About 3 weeks ago I bought Olight SR Mini Intimidator. What made me buy it is that G20 at High produces for 4 and half hours 650 Lumens which is very bright while Intimidator at high produces 1600 Lumens which is more twice as much for three hours. Also Olight at Medium produces 600 Lumens which is only 50 Lumens less then G20 at High.
ProsAt High setting you could drive your car at night without headlights for up to 3 hours.

Super bright flashlight outstanding
This is a super bright light that I will carry in my ready pack, I can't find a better choice, small but powerful and can be recharged by the USB outlet in your car. I never leave home without a flashlight as a Police Officer of 20 years I learned better to have and not need, then need and not have.
Pros3200 lumens

Fantastic Light
Love the flood light wide beam. Use all day long inspecting airplane parts. Easy to use. Buy the NITECORE 3400Ah batteries. Holster is almost worthless, started falling apart the first day.

brightest light out there, but switch is bad
The switch is bad. Not sure if it got too hot, it does get warm. Still brightest light out there. Now I just have to hold down the button down to keep the light on. Saves on battery life I guess. Called the manufacturer a couple of times, but not very helpful. They would not replace.
Prosbright light, compact, good in the hand
Conssomething wrong with switch.

Great little beast
Solid construction. It's a handful, yet small enough to carry comfortably. Very bright, with fully charged batteries. The light beam is not as focused as others, yet still throws for a long distance, while providing a very large area of light. More of a flood light with good distance. It reduces light output as the batteries weaken, yet continues to put out. Nice charging micro USB port and port with convenient light which shows when the battery power is dropping. Turbo is a bit touchy for me to get to work, yet it is possible with fully charged batteries. Without turbo, it's still a bright light.
ProsSolid. Size. Brightness. Flood light. Micro USB charging port/cover. charge level light.

Nice idea but...
Your 18650's better have a round top. Flat tops,wiIl not work. Poor design. It's the only 18650 flashlight out of more than 30 I own that can't use a flat top. Light characteristics are good.
ProsUse charging, light quality, good fit and finish
ConsCan't use 18650 flat tops, price

Terrific Floody Flashlight
I really like this flashlight. What I like best is the user interface, which is quite good for a single-button flashlight. - Single click to turn on flashlight at most recent power setting. - Hold down button to cycle through low/med/high settings. - Double-click button to go to "turbo" extra-high brightness. - Triple-click to go to strobe. - Single long click to turn on directly in low brightness without disturbing the stored "favorite" brightness. It's easier to use than it sounds. If you want a truly floody light, you'll almost certainly like this one. Excellent for hiking twisty trails in the woods, but limited throw for hiking on wide open spaces. Perfect for household and work lighting. One minor complaint is that it can be hard to find the power button by feel. What does work well though is to spin the flashlight with the off hand until the rubber-covered button slides under my thumb. Problem solved.
ProsVery even, broad beam. This makes it excellent for searching nearby areas with portable daylight. Convenient user interface. High build quality. Pocketable (if a bit heavy/large for all-day carry that way). USB internal charge connector. Low battery indicator.
ConsVery even, broad beam. It spreads the lumens over a wide area and this detracts from throw distance. Not anti-roll (but stands on either tail or head).

Perfect size, turbo mode questions
Love the size and shape. My concern and question on this light is regarding turbo mode. I appear to only be able to activate turbo after light is turned on and by a quick click of the button. Turbo only activates for 3 seconds. While I don't need turbo on forever, 3 seconds is somewhat ridiculous of a flashlight of this caliber. Olight - please advise and I will happily update review.
Merchant Response:Hi Blake, In response to your query, this item was tested and the result was that the Turbo mode lasts for at least 2-3 min. before dropping down to a somewhat lower brightness. It should, in theory, last longer than a few seconds. The reason for the really short Turbo mode could be your batteries--you might want to double check them and their charges. As they are rechargeable, they should be at full capacity for optimal brightness. If you have any other questions, or run across any other problems, please contact our customer service department, and they will be happy to assist you.
ProsSize and shape
ConsTurbo mode is only three seconds and only available once light is on.

Cover your eyes!
I read about this when I was looking for a strong light for camping and I am very pleased. Turn it on and you practically have daylight right in front of you! Feels very solid in my hand, I haven't dropped it yet but I don't think that will be a problem. Fits snugly in to a backpack or pocket. Nice!~
ProsBright Really Bright Seriously though it's freakin bright
ConsBatteries not included Only one switch feels clumsy

Great Flashlight
I really like this flashlight; it is the brightest flashlight that I own. While the batteries can be a bit pricey, you definitely get what you pay for. I really enjoy the Mini Intimidator's comfortable grip. This is a flashlight for professionals and collectors; definitely a step above what you will find trolling around Target!!!!!!
ProsGrip, Brightness
ConsBatteries can be pricey over time if you need use it often.
