Protected Button Top 18650 Battery

The Panasonic NCR18650BD is a 3,180mAh high capacity li-ion battery with a 10A high-discharge rate. Along with the protected button top terminal, this battery is designed for a wide variety of demanding applications, such as flashlights with high-lumen turbo modes or industrial and medical devices.

NCR chemistry is similar to NMC, offering a long life span and a high energy density with greater stability with the added aluminum. With the added protection circuit board (PCB), the NCR18650BD features multiple safety features against overcharging and short circuits.

3 Year Shelf Life

PCB Protection

This battery has a PCB (protection circuit board) that automatically detects and protects against overcharging, overdischarging, and short circuiting.

This is a single cell battery pack comprised of a genuine Panasonic MCR18650BD battery with a button top and PCB (protection circuit board) added by a battery pack manufacturer.
The addition of the button top terminal makes the pack slightly longer than an unprotected flat top 18650 battery, and the PCB offers protection from overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, and short circuit.
This cell has an additional outer wrapper (or sticker) and insulator which must not be removed.

These batteries are advertised as being 3180mah .They test out at less than 2500 mah. They are protected Batteries

The batteries are very strong in my LED WORK LIGHT. It came with the 2 batteries missing and I bought 2 of these and put them in. Makes super Bright Led work light..Happy with price and quick service. Wikk have to wait and see if they stay strong after several recharges. Very satisfied with purchase ....Rich
