The Pelican 1640 Airtight Transport Case is the optimal traveling case for all of your needs. Made of an extremely durable Polypropylene material the body of the Pelican 1640 case is next to indestructible. With the Neoprene O-ring and ABS latch there is a perfect seal that can keep out dust, moisture, and other outside particles. The IP67 rating can ensure you that the 1640 Airtight Transport Case is fully watertight, dustproof, crushproof, chemical- and corrosion- resistant. These extremely protective features will ensure that your electronics or precious cargo is not damaged while in-transit. The optional foam sets can further keep your valuables protected from being bumped around in travel.
The Pelican 1640 Airtight Transport Case also features a padlock that can provide extra security to your belongings. Also, there is an automatic purge valve that can equalize the pressure within your case if there are atmospheric pressure changes in and outside your case. This pressure release will further protect your valuables during any air or undersea traveling. For convenience, the Pelican 1640 Airtight Transport Case has fold down handles AND a retractable extension handle that allows for easy transportation.
