The Petzl DUO Z2 Headlamp is a lightweight and rugged light designed to be used in a wide variety of environments. The multi-beam choice is ideal for ever-changing situations, adventures and lighting needs. The four brightness settings range from 50 lumens all the way up to 220 - more than enough light for almost any task. If you need even more, the Boost mode provides temporary maximum illumination at 430 lumens. At Petzl, they know that adventures sometimes need some extra time. The Reserve mode automatically kicks in when batteries are low and emits a minimalistic 10 lumens for up to an hour so you can get to another light source or back up battery. This headlamp also features the patented FACE2FACE anti-glare function which allows you to face another adventurer without blinding them. Those that are also using DUO headlamps, this feature automatically dims your light when two or more beams cross. Talk about considerate!

Rechargeable and Adaptable

This lamp is powered by 4 rechargeable AA batteries (included). Using one of the most commonly found battery sizes in the world makes it that much easier to find back-up power for your light. The balanced headband is a breathable material for natural heat dissipation, is adjustable and detachable for washing purposes. Built for rugged adventures, it is waterproof and impact resistant so you can use it in any weather.
