Dual Beam Technology
Sporting a flood/spot mixed beam, the Petzl Actik CORE is a headlamp that includes a Micro-USB rechargeable battery and is 10% lighter than the basic Actik model. The Actik CORE emits a 600-lumen beam of light on Max Power mode which casts more than 375 feet into the distance! Three white light modes enable you to balance runtime and brightness to suit your activity, so you can reach a runtime of 100 hours with the lowest white light setting.
Continuing the duality theme, the Actik CORE also has two color outputs, with a versatile red light that consumes little energy and doesn't strain the eyes or affect natural night vision. The red strobe mode is a formidable signal device, operating for 400 hours and visible up to 700 meters away so you can outlast and outmatch emergency situations.
Hybrid Powerhouse
Many Petzl headlamps are designed to accept dual fuel sources to give users tons of flexibility when it comes to securing and maintaining a fresh power supply. In order to make this possible, the headlamp's battery compartment is constructed to accept the CORE rechargeable li-ion battery pack as well as three common AAA cells. For ease of use, the CORE pack has a direct charge port that eliminates the need for complementary charging bays.
