With five brightness levels ranging from 1 to 1000 lumens, the Nitecore TUP has a little something for everyone. The 'Daily' user mode is for standard usage, while 'Demo' mode automatically shuts off after 30 seconds of inactivity to protect against accidental activation and battery consumption. In addition, two lockout modes are available to protect against accidental activation. 'Full-Lockout' is best for traveling and storage, while the 'Half-Lockout' grants immediate access to turbo mode for emergency use. During regular use, a long press on the power button functions as a shortcut to ultralow illumination.
