Next up to get the refreshed, rechargeable treatment is the S20R, which for its size is very compact and powerful. Constructed from hard-anodized aircraft-grade aluminum, and measuring in at just over four inches and weighing under two ounces, the S20R is a true contender in the EDC category. Featuring a dual purpose magnetic tailcap, the S20R is able to attach it to any metal surface to be used as a worklight. It also attaches securely to the included micro-USB charging dock with the included double sided tape. The O-ring located in the bezel, glows-in-the-dark, giving you easy access to the light when in the dark. Dropping the S20R on the ground or in a puddle will not slow you down because the S20R is impact resistant up to 1.5 meters and is IPX-7 waterproof.

Lighting Technology

CREE LED

The S20R is equipped with the latest XM-L2 LED from CREE, which is able to push out a blinding 550 lumens. The multi-function side switch gives you access to the four output modes, including strobe. Strobe mode is accessed by double clicking the side switch when the light is on. If that is too much light, you can get into moonlight mode by pressing and holding the side switch when the light is off. The S20R will cycle from the 1 lumen moonlight mode, 5 lumen low mode, 120 lumen medium mode, and finally up to the 550 lumen high mode. Mode memory will bring you to the last used output mode, so they are no surprises.

Power

Micro-USB Charging Dock

Powering the S20R is the included 2600mAh 18650 battery. You can also use two Lithium CR123A batteries as backup, bringing your true versatility. Reverse polarity protection will guard you against malfunctioning, in the event you improperly insert the batteries. Doubling as a battery power indicator, the side switch which will glow red when the battery runs low. When the time comes to recharge your battery, use the included micro-USB charging dock that magnetically snaps to the tail of the light to charge your 18650. The charging dock also includes USB port so you can charge another device while waiting for the S10R to recharge. Something to keep in mind is that when plugging the dock into a port on the side of a monitor or another kind of non-powered USB hub will not work. Features:
