Lithium Thionyl Chloride AA Battery
Saft LS-14500 are AA sized batteries that are composed of a Lithium Thionyl Chloride (Li-SOCI2) chemistry. Compared to other chemistries, Li-SOCI2 has the highest energy density out of any lithium chemistry and has 3x the capacity of alkaline counterparts. These batteries have unique Axial PC leads which allow for mounting and easy installation in industrial machinery. A single LS-14500 provides 3.6 volts of power which is ideal for low-drain devices. Don't forget, with a 2600 mAh capacity these batteries will last for extended periods of time and are crafted to ensure extended use of devices before having to switch out batteries. Due to the lithium chemistry, Saft LS-14500 batteries are operable in a wide temperature range. They will work in both extreme heat and extreme cold so weather and temperature will never be an issue when operating industrial machinery in varying climates.
Please note that these primary cells are NOT rechargeable. Under no circumstances should they be placed in a charger. When fully discharged, please dispose of according to your local regulations.
