Powerful, Versatile Tool
Whether you're planning on taking an extended trek into the wilderness, or just want a multi-functional axe to keep in the shed, the SOG Survival Hawk is the tool for you! Crafted from sturdy 2CR steel, this impressive hatchet features a 3-inch multi-purpose blade complete with specialized cutouts on both sides that help reduce friction while chopping or cutting, allowing for more production per swing. The head of the Survival Hawk also features a checkered hammer head in its center and a nail-puller on the end opposite of the blade for when you don't have a hammer nearby. The handle of the axe is wrapped with reflective paracord, a useful survival tool that helps provide a comfortable and secure grip for the user. The end of the handle even features a hidden ferrocerium fire-starter that can generate sparks as hot as 5,430° F (3,000° C) when struck against steel. The Survival Hawk comes with a durable ballistic nylon sheath that can be conveniently clipped to you belt or gear for easy carry.
