Sharing a name with the Greek god of metalworking, the Vulcan lives up to the comparison, featuring a 3.5" tanto blade made from three-layer VG-10 steel, known for its sturdiness and rigidity. The knife's handle is crafted from glass-reinforced nylon and features a special diamond knurling that helps provide a more secure, slip-free grip even while wearing gloves. The folding knife utilizes SOG's patented Arc-Lock™, which uses a pivoting block to hold the blade in place, capable of withstanding up to 1000 pounds of force.
