Tactical Build and Benefits

The TLR-8 is the new and improved Streamlight Pistol Light with an added feature of a red laser. This ultra lightweight flashlight is constructed out of machined aircraft grade aluminum and has a black anodized finish. It will stand up to the punishments of tactical use and is corrosion and abrasion resistant. The bezel of this light has an added bonus of a "Safe Off" feature to prevent accidental activation as well as saving battery power. The IPX4 rating also makes this water resistant from splashing water at any angle. The low-profile, ambidextrous, multi-function switch lets you access the On/Off buttons from either side without fear of snagging. This function is crucial in situations of duress as you do not want to lose your preferred grip on your firearm while operating a light.

Rail Clamp Innovation

The Streamlight TLR series has an innovative Rail Clamp system to ease the process of installing your light. The Rail Grip Clamp safely speeds up the attachment or detachment of this light to your firearm. With one-handed operation, this feature allows you to connect your TLR-8 to your pistol safely without use of tools or putting your hands in front of the muzzle. It comes with a pre-installed rail key and also a rail key kit to make sure that your light fits your weapon correctly. These rail keys are imperative for correct installation to full-size and compact handguns, making sure that your light does not move under recoil.

Combined Lighting Power

As an added advantage and versatility, the TLR-8 also has an integrated aiming red laser for long-range targeting. The 640-660nm red laser is easily adjusted by turning either the windage or elevation screw on the left hand side of the flashlight body. The C4 LED technology allows this light to throw 500 lumens of continuous runtime light for up to an hour and a half and the laser only mode for up to 18 hours. The beam from this flashlight can extend up to 131 meters. It features a custom TIR optic lens to enhance peripheral lighting by reflecting more light through its lens making a more brilliant beam. This LED is run off of one CR123A lithium battery but has an estimated life of 50,000 hours and will go the distance with you and your weapon. Select which lighting mode is best for the task at hand; Laser only, LED only, or combined LED and Laser. There is also a user enabled strobe mode that is easy to access with a few quick instructions from your manual. Have the power of dual functionality conveniently in one accessory.
