This is a weapon light design specifically for the Remington 870 and nothing else. This is a weapon light designed for professionals, popular amongst law enforcement, and ideal for home defense. This lightweight, durable system simply replaces the weapon's original forend. And what you get in return is an integrated light system which won't weigh you down at only 17.8 ounces. The beam is specifically designed for medium to close range use, exactly what you want in a shotgun light, and it's incredibly bright at 600 lumens on high mode.
The symmetrical design allows for ambidextrous use. It doesn't matter if you're left or right handed, separate momentary, consistent on, and mode selection switches are located on both sides of the forend. The lens is recoil-proof, impact resistant thanks to the aluminum casing with hard anodized finish and tough polymer forend, and water resistant thanks to gasket/O-ring sealing to keep out water and unwanted debris. This is far and beyond the best lighting system for the Remington 870 shotgun, from a brand like SureFire, you just can't go wrong.
