This RovyVon Hybrid H3 Pro pen light is the best in all aspects for what I needed it for. Its light, durable, has a really strong beam option and is easy to understand the flashlight's operation. And the function of having an extra external battery that can be used as backup or as primary power source make this the best pen light I have ever had.

RovyVon has not made a light that I have brought yet that I have not been impressed with.

I collect flashlights like crazy, and I usually rate them. Most times lately it seems like a lot of the companies are really making some junk. Everything I have gotten from RovyVon (10-12) has worked and is easy to understand (can't say that for a lot of the other brands) This one fits the bill as well.

This model is the bigger of the H3 series, and with the extra features it does make it heavy for a shirt pocket, not undoable, just heavy. it works better in a tactical sleave, pant pocket or jacket pocket. If you want a more pocket friendly size, go with the regular model.

The biggest benefits/differences (take it way you will) of the pro tactical model are a tighter- brighter focus, a defense end and a bigger rubber bumper style switch on the end cap. All of this is what adds to the extra weight and extended size.

The beam type is a fairly tight focus with a light halo and good for about a realistic 100'. The standard H3 is more of a flood style and good for a flood range of 75-100'.

These lights, in my opinion, were meant to be quick access lights for pocket carry. Some of their other lights that are half the size of your pinky will out preform these lights, however you can't hold them doing the same tasks sometimes, and you sure can't find it as quick digging in your pocket.

Great light. I would recommend that they change the replacement battery to be lithium batteries instead of regular batteries, for more lumen output.

Great 2 AA light with dual fuel capability. Incredibly bright also. Highly recommend using with Eneloop AAs for long runtimes

Granted, I just got it but I've been very happy with what I see so far. I was wanting something tactical, not too heavy and big, and with options for EDC and very quick tactical mode when I needed it. This item did a very good job on that. It is well-made and I like the longer length for a striking weapon if needed. I have some other lights that have a brighter strobe mode but the thing with this one is it really has a more intense beam direction that is very irritating to the eyes. I don't know if it's also their color of light that adds to the effect but I'm just glad it does what it does so well. The strobe is excellent in MHO. It's a big company and I imagine that if I did have questions or issues they'd take care of it. I just slip it in my front pocket with no clipping and it's so easy to carry and also crab when I need it fast.
