Problems with constant use

I hooked up the product within the US in order to power a EU lamp. Since the lamp is well below the 200w max I figured it would be no problem but this has not been the case. During continuous usage the power supply will turn off after about 15/20 minutes. I think this may be a result of the unit becoming overheated and the thermally activated fuse kicks in. After a time of cooling the power supply will turn back on. It is quite irritating as the lamp I have installed is a work light, not ideal.

I have a 220 v electrical small appliance which I bought in South America. I need to convert this appliance to 110v to plug it in the US. Is this the right converter?

1 Answer

Yes, by using the included US Plug adapter, the converter can be run from a US outlet and will output the needed 220V. This converter is rated for up to 200 Watts. Make sure the device doesn't require more than that.
