Before moving to Europe, I purchased this transformer power my VoIP phone and recharge my electric razor. I\'ve had it for more than a year with no problems. It even powered my mothers CPAP device every night during her two week visit (though it was pretty warm each morning.)

All in all I couldn\'t be more pleased.

I plan to purchase the TC-500 so I can bring over and use my Kitchen Aid mixer.

is the plug in good for switzerland ? or do I need to buy a separate plug converter ? and is this good to run small appliances on ? e.g mixer ?

This transformer comes with a standard european plug and also an US plug adapter. This 100 watt unit is likely not powerful enough to run most kitchen appliances. This 500 watt transformer should cover that. SevenStar 500 Watt Transformer We carry transformers that are compatible up to 3000 watts. Please make sure you read the necessary wattage of your appliances.
