Others say you can do better for less but not with Streamlights Lifetime Warranty. This takes readily available AA and shines bright and lasts a long time, what's not to like. Good for camping, bumps in the night, walking the dog, etc. They even make a nice belt (elc) clamp that you can add

Durable flashlight and long lasting battery life

I bought this flashlight to replace the exact same one that was lost when the kids took it camping. I have had 2 of these for over a year now and they have never given me any problems at all. This flashlight is very light to carry, provides a very bright light for only 100 lumens and the batteries last for a very long time. I would highly recommend this flashlight if your looking for a basic flashlight.

You can do better for less $

This was a great light 10 years ago. I even have two, but do not know or care where they are. Flashlight technology has advanced. You can get more brightness (lumens) on fewer batteries ( 2 x AA) that lasts longer AND has constant output. For instance, the Fenix LD22 produces 50 lumens for 14.5 hours at constant brightness (regulated) PLUS it has other brightness levels and runs on either alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Just look around this website.
