Overall it is a great everyday carry light. IT fits perfectly in my pocket . It is light. Setting it up for Low and high mode is a little difficult. Once it is set it is great. The low is perfect for just looking around.
Not to bright where my night vision is ruined. Then flicking it to High I can see everything around me and at distance. The only thing was I wish the aluminum was a little more solid and was available in different colors. For the price, brightness, and size. You can't beat it.

I have owned this light for about 2 and a half years now and I have dropped it multiple times and it just keeps going. I carry this light on me everyday, I love the 3 modes, High, Strobe, Low, perfect for all types of tasks.

Bought this light from Battery Junction about 3 years ago. Absolutely love it; but my newly acquired Terralux TT-4 520 lumens makes the 260 lumens of the ProTac 2L seem almost puny by comparison. The Terralux is a bit larger though and best carried with the robust holster that comes with it.

It would be just the thing for plain clothes detective; since they never seem to have a light of their own and have to borrow mine! It is capable of doing just about anything you want to with it except trying to use it for traffic control. All in all I would buy it again. Also, I like the fact that it has a serial number whereas so many of the small lights do not.

Thank you for your inquiry. The Streamlight ProTac 2L has 3 settings. There's a high at 260 lumens, low at 13 lumens, and also a strobe.
