The E-Flood® LiteBox® HL is a lantern from STREAMLIGHT® that is specialized for use in extreme environments, such as those that firefighters, military, law enforcement, or emergency personnel face each day. The E-Flood LiteBox HL will give the user a maximal amount of lumens to perform his/her vital tasks. The handheld flood light offers three different output modes to suit a variety of needs. High mode offers an impressive 5,300-lumen output, while Low mode runs for approximately 10 hours, with a 1,300-lumen output. How many other LED lanterns provide such brilliant illumination, in such a small package? The E-Flood LiteBox HL has International Safety Orange as a color, so it can be seen in chaotic environments where there may be smoke, darkness, debris, or perhaps a chemical agent around you, and you have to know where your light is right away.

Adjust Beam Widths in Two Different Ways

The E-Flood LiteBox HL is classified as a flood light, since it has a very broad beam expanse, a wonderful advantage when the area around you is very dark or is choked with smoke, for example. It is molded from ABS thermoplastic, which is a robust material that will withstand rough treatment and accidents that may occur on the job. This lantern is engineered for your comfort because it has a cushioned grip and handle. The impact bumper and lens ring are made of elastomer, which is a kind of plastic that has some characteristics that cause it to resemble rubber. The lens is shatterproof, and it is built from polycarbonate plastic, which is anti-scratch and is sealed with an O-ring. Other important anatomical features on the E-Flood LiteBox include D-rings near the handle that support the shoulder strap, and the neck, which can rotate to 90° so that it's easy to light up the area where you're doing work. The E-Flood LiteBox HL is designed to function in any weather, wherever you may find yourself. The reflectors are a deep-dish parabola shape, and are called wide patterns; they enable the user to get the ultimate in smooth beam sequences. You can also adjust the beam widths in two different ways with the unique selectable diffuser setting.

Equipped To Handle Dangerous and Hazardous Conditions

There are actually six LEDs in this lantern that are made by STREAMLIGHT; they're called C4® LEDs. These C4s are shock-resistant and are very long-lasting at 50,000h. The battery source for the E-Flood LiteBox is a 12V 7.2Ah rechargeable sealed lead acid battery. This sealed lead acid cell is able to go through up to 500 charge-recharge cycles, and it is virtually maintenance-free. The power switch is a toggle-type, that promotes ease of use because it controls the unit from either the interior battery or through an outside power source that ranks as 12VDC. The warranty for the E-Flood LiteBox is STREAMLIGHT's limited lifetime warranty, and the light includes such accessories as a shoulder strap, AC and DC chargers, and a charge rack.
