STKR Ultra-Sonic Garage Parking Sensor
Precision Parking
The STKR Garage Parking Sensor is an innovative parking aid so that you can park your vehicle exactly where you want it in variety of size garages. As reliable as a hanging tennis ball at the end of a string is, STKR Concepts designed a better and more appealing way for you to accurately park your car. This compact and mountable system uses safe, ultrasonic range finding technology to locate your car and assist you in parking it. The main parking display module contains bright LEDs with readily identifiable colors corresponding with standard traffic lights and rules. As you approach the sensor in your garage, it will light up green to let you know it is safe to continue. The yellow light is to warn you to slow down your approach. When you have reached the predetermined and set distance, it will light up red to signal you to stop. The parking sensor module is set beneath the display and it is what locates your vehicle as well as lighting up the area in front of your car for a safer walkway.
Easy Mounting and Set Up
This system is another tool-free set up design, to make it easier for you. This package includes mounting velcro and double sided tape so you can place it where ever you need. The main display module is set at the drivers' level and the sensor module at the level of your bumper. The unit is easily calibrated once your car has been parked in the desired stop zone and the "Set Distance" button is pressed. You can be as close to this sensor as 6 inches or as far away as 6 feet. This is to accommodate for varying size garages.
Walkway Lighting
At STKR Concepts, they want to keep you safe as much as the bumper of your vehicle. They have installed a small white LED located on the bottom of the sensor module so the walkway area below the bumper of your vehicle is gently lit. This area is usually pretty dark, and to help light your way, this LED will illuminate when your vehicle reaches the predetermined stopping location and will stay on for 45 seconds, time out, and automatically shut off. Talk about consideration!

Important: Garage Parking Sensor stop distances can vary due to vehicle type, temperature, and weather. It is important to check your reaction time and leave sufficient stopping distance for these variations. Always test the desired stop distance when parking a new vehicle and adjust mounting location or stopping distance if necessary. THIS IS ONLY A PARKING AID. This does not stop your car. The Sensor was designed for slow speed parking. The display module will not accurately reflect distances at rapid speeds. APPROACH SLOWLY and with caution every time.
